I'm passionate about inspiring and engaging young minds with stories that allow them to explore the world through their own eyes. It is my hope that these stories will help to bring joy and curiosity to young readers, while also providing them with an opportunity to learn and grow. I'm so excited to share my stories with you!
My Story
Everyone has a story to tell if you pause to listen. Here is my story! My name is Katrina Townes. I am an imaginative writer and professional communicator. I like to read, but I love to tell stories more. I have been writing about different subjects since childhood, starting with writing newspaper articles for my neighborhood newspaper. As a communicator with over 20 years experience, I've crafted and shared stories about everything from what dads want for Father's Day to the stars and heavens to far away places. As a writer, I strive to share my knowledge and inspire those around me. Most important, I am a busy wife and mom of three "not so little kids" plus one fur baby. In my spare time, I pretend to be a master chef creating new, tasty recipes in my kitchen and master gardener cultivating new herbs and pretty flowers. I am also a proud graduate of Hampton University and the George Washington University.
